How this site handles your information

Scout Local Media publishes Perth Reno Hub, an independent directory of renovation contractor businesses in Perth metro. Most visits leave nothing personal with us at all. This page covers the cases that do: enquiry forms, attribution data, and the third-party services the site loads.

Information this site collects

The forms on this site (enquiries and quote requests) collect the details you type in: name, email address, phone number, your message, and any service or timing answers the form asks for. Each submission also carries the URL of the page it was sent from, plus traffic-source attribution such as the referring site and UTM parameters, so we know which page and channel the enquiry came through.

Where form submissions go

Your submission goes through our lead-capture processor, which delivers it to the renovation contractor business you enquired about and to the site operator. Those are the only recipients of a form submission.

Local storage

We do not set tracking cookies of our own. The one thing the site stores client-side is session-scoped attribution data (referrer, landing page, UTM parameters) in sessionStorage, so that a form sent later in your visit records where you came from. It is first-party only and clears when the session ends.

Site analytics

Where analytics is enabled on this site, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager may set cookies to measure how visitors use the site. Those cookies are governed by Google’s own privacy policy.

Services this site loads

Some page elements load from third-party services, which means those services see your browser’s requests (including your IP address): Google Fonts for typography, OpenStreetMap for map tiles, and Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection on forms, when enabled. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Information about listed businesses

Listings are built from public sources such as Google Business Profile reviews. What we keep is derived analysis: scores, summaries, and sentiment, never the raw review text itself. Businesses that want a listing corrected or removed can follow the listing policy.

Access, deletion, and retention
